We have purchased a new SurfAlloy® machine to improve our surface treatment of grip areas in bend dies and clamp dies. SurfAlloy® is a world renowned process for applying various types of materials, such as carbide, to the working surface of a die to minimize the slipping effect of a tube during bending. The SurfAlloy® process is particularly effective at reducing slippage without substantially marking the tube and has great wear characteristics.
